1920 Horrors of the Heart is a Hindi language horror romantic thriller movie directed by Krishna Bhatt starring Avika Gor, Rahul Dev, Barkha Bisht, Danish Pandor, Randheer Rai, Ketaki Kulkarni, Amit Behl and Avtar Gil in prominent roles.
Story Plot
Meghna (Avika Gor) gets the news of her father suicide when she was looking to reveal her father about her love relationship. He also leaves a note for Meghna stating that her mothers re-marriage is the reason behind this decision. Her mother (Radhika aka Barkha Bisht) is living with her new husband and her daughter(Aditi aka Ketaki Kulkarni). So, Meghna decides to demolish her mothers family. A half dead demon and the bad soul of her father is guiding her to harm Aditi. The unfolding events form the remainder of the story.
Short Review
Director Krishna Bhatt sets an example of how not to make a horror movie in this era. 1920 Horrors of the Heart is filled with clichéd scenes, giving the impression that the director borrowed one or two scenes from older, better horror movies. The story itself is outdated, and the execution of the scenes feels even older. The visual effects (VFX) are extremely poor. Starting from blood hands, the sets of cave, possessed girl makeup, most of the things are poorly executed. It appears that the movie lacked a decent budget. Overall, 1920 Horrors of the Heart is a movie that should be avoided.
