Short Review
Director Tarun Teja’s idea of the story is quite interesting, but unfortunately it didn’t worked out as a whole. The first half of the movie is presented like a horror movie which takes a turn in the second half making it a Psychological thriller. The director took more time in explaining Aarthi Rajagopal’s past which can make the audience feel bored. There are also some unnecessary scenes and complexities that could have been eliminated for a smoother narrative. The performance from Vasanth Ravi is outstanding. Sound design is a major positive. Despite its flaws, ASVINS is a decent watch if you keep your expectations low.
