Bommai is a Tamil language thriller drama movie directed by Radha Mohan starring talented actors SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles.
Story Plot
SJ Surya creates a mannequin and falls in love with it, imagining it as a lady (Priya Bhavani Shankar). The mannequin is moved to a dress shop. He continues to visit the store frequently, develops his love for the mannequin and imagining it in various ways. The story explores whether he eventually come out of this imagination and what unfolds next.
Short Review
The plot of the movie Bommai is fresh and unique. The story takes its time to build momentum, resulting in a slow-paced first half. However, the second half is excellent. SJ Surya delivers an extraordinary performance, as expected. He is the pillar of this movie. Priya Bhavani Shankar delivers a decent performance as well. The exceptional BGM by Yuvan Shankar Raja helps keep the audience engaged. The editing by Anthony is also clean. Overall, Bommai is a movie worth watching.
