Takkar is a Tamil language action rom-com movie directed by Karthik G. Krish starring Siddharth and Divyansha Kaushik in lead roles supported by Yogi Babu, Munishkanth and RJ Vigneshkanth.
Story Plot
The movie revolves around an ambitious poor guy who wants to become rich and falls into a mafia trap because of this desire. Meanwhile, he falls in love with a rich girl. The remainder of the story unfolds as he navigates his love life while also trying to escape from the clutches of the mafia.
Short Review
In short, Takkar is a forgettable movie for Siddharth. Although the movie starts with an interesting opening, it gradually dragged into a predictable and typical plot. Karthik G Krish should have focused more on the writing, as the screenplay fails to engage the audience. The love track appears more like lust on screen. The background score and songs does not add any value to the movie except for Nira, which is decent. Yogi Babu’s comedy works in some parts of the movie but falls short of expectations. Overall, Takkar has more negatives than positives, making it a film to be avoided.
