Thandatti is a Tamil language comedy thriller movie directed by Ram Sangaiah starring Pasupathy, Rohini, Vivek Prasanna and Ammu Abhirami in prominent roles.
Story Plot
A constable (Pasupathy) at the verge of retirement is assigned a task to find a old lady (Rohini) who went missing from a village where they hate police. When he finds the old lady, she collapses and passes away. That night, a pair of ear rings (Thandatti) of the dead women goes missing. The journey of finding drives the remainder of the story.
Short Review
Thandatti is a very simple yet engaging film. The director Ram Sangaiah presented his vision clearly. First half of the movie is little slow where the second half is filled with humorous and emotional moments. The performance by all the actors are very neat especially Pasupathi. Music could have been better during emotional scenes. Climax is not so satisfying as it feels as a forced inclusion. Overall, Thandatti is worth watch.
