Veeran 2023 is a Tamil language superhero action movie directed by A.R.K.Saravanan. The movie stars multi-talented Hiphop Tamizha Adhi as the lead actor supported by Vinay Rai, Kaali Venkat and Munishkanth.
Story Plot
Kumaran is a 15 year old teenager who lives in a village called Veeranor. One day, he gets struck by a lightning and becomes unconscious for a short period. When he recovers, he realizes that he posses some superpower. In the meantime, his village is falling into the hands of a corporate villain. How does Kumaran use his superpower to save his village?
Short Review
Superhero movies are very rare in Indian cinema. This movie is a bold attempt by the director ARK Saravan. It showcases both the people’s belief in god and also their superstitions. Veeran has some creative elements which adds boost to the story. Despite Hip Hop Adhi delivering a decent job with his limited expressions, his music stands as a major pillar. Villain’s role is not strong enough to make an impact. In-fact, it seems funny in some scenes. Some comedy elements has worked out decently in the middle by Kaali venkat and Munishkanth. The actress role doesn’t contribute any value to the story. Although, the first half of the movie is good, second half will test your patience. Overall, Veeran is a decent one time watch.
